About Dr. Razavi

Ramin Razavi, D.M.D., M.S. has practiced dentistry in his McLean office since 1998. Prior to that, he was clinical assistant professor at Georgetown University Hospital, Department of Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery from 1991-98. His post-graduate professional education began at the University of Louisville’s School of Dentistry, where he earned a Doctorate in Dental Medicine and a Master of Science in oral biology in 1988. He served his residency in prosthodontics from 1988-1990, followed by a Fellowship focusing on dental oncology and maxillofacial prosthodontics at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center from 1990-1991. He has also received advanced training in such areas as dental implantology, biostatistics as applied to research and cardiac life support. Dr. Razavi has received numerous honors and awards, including Phi Delta Honorary Prosthodontics Fraternity, Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society, the American Cancer Society’s Clinical Oncology Fellowship Award and the Academy of Dental Materials’ Award for Research. He has also published medical and dental journals, spoken at medical/dental conferences, and has been involved in a number of advanced research projects.
